The Fairmont volleyball program traveled to Beavercreek on Thursday, 9/24, and came home with the sweep. Last night, 9/22, the JV and Varsity teams defeated wayne. The JV team played a very controlled match. They defeated the Warriors 25-15 and 25-9. Freshman had an exciting match against the Miamisburg Vikings on Monday night, 9/17. They competed hard during the first set, but lost 20-25. Started out slow in the second and things did not look good for the Firebirds, but with great serving, teamwork, and determination they were able to win the second set 26-24. They
Freshman had a great team win defeating the Bolts 2 sets to 0. Scores were 25-12 and 25-18. Aggressive serving and defense won the match for the Birds. JV finish the night with a 2 set victory. They took the first set 25-19, but the Bolts started to challenge the Firebirds in the second set.

On Monday evening the Firebird Women’s Volleyball program traveled to Northmont for their first away contest of the 2020 season. It was a great way to start with all teams leaving with victories. The Freshman won 2 sets to 0. JV won 2 sets to 0. Scores were 25-7 and 25-15. Varsity won 3 sets
During the Pink Game on, 10/3, the Varsity and Freshman volleyball teams came out with victories overt Beavercreek. We would like to thank everyone that came out to support the team and the Pink Ribbon Girls this evening. We were able to raise $1,030!!
