FIREBIRDS 5TH AND SNODGRASS A CHAMP AT GWOC

The Fairmont Wrestling Firebirds rebounded from a tough first day to finish a strong 5th in the final installment of the 20-team GWOC Championships. Nevan Snodgrass led the way with a dominant performance en route to his 3rd GWOC title in as many tries.  Snodgrass registered 3 pins and a technical fall and scored 29.5

MARC ALBAN (’02) – FAIRMONT ATHLETIC HALL OF FAME INDUCTEE

State Placewinner Marc Alban (’02) will be inducted into the Fairmont Athletic Hall of Fame on Saturday 2/9/19. Marc was an all-around athlete who earned a total of 9 varsity letters while at Fairmont (Wrestling-4, Cross Country-3, Track-2).  Marc was a Team Captain for both the Wrestling and Cross Country programs during his time as
