In the regular season finale both the JV and Varsity Women’s soccer teams finish on a win streak, defeating the Oakwood Lumberjills 2-1. Fairmont Women’s Soccer traveled to Piqua to take on the Indians and brought home 2 well deserved wins. JV stretches their win streak to 5, with 1 game remaining in the season.  With this win they have evened out their record at 7-7-1. The ball found the back of the net 4 times in the

Women’s Soccer: Firebirds Shutout Wayne. JV win streak continues.

The Lady Firebirds played well against the Wayne Warriors, bringing home 2 shutouts, with stellar defense. JV scored early when Allison Bauman drew a penalty after being fouled in the Warrior’s box.  Corinne Tew took the PK and scored on a low shot to the left corner of the goal.  Corinne is now the JV team

Women’s Soccer: JV defeats Xenia, Varsity falls.

JV Lady Firebirds went into halftime at a 0-0 tie, but didn’t want to end that way.  The second half they kept the shooting parade going and were able to net 2 goals for the Win.  The first goal came off a corner kick by Corinne Tew, which hit of the fingertips of the keeper
