Fresh off a well-earned victory, the birds played the second half of a back-to-back against Ottawa Hills (Toledo, OH). Ottawa Hills controlled much of the possession in the first half creating 7 shots, 5 of which were on target. Carter Haas made 5 saves in the first half.

The Birds pressed higher in the beginning of the second half and created a few scoring chances. This was short lived as the Green Bears exploded for four goals in nine minutes in the second half. Ottawa Hills was went wire-to-wire ranked #1 in Division 3 in the 2018 season.

The Firebirds are back in action on the road Monday night against Chaminade-Julienne in their final tune-up before the regular season begins. JV kicks off at 5:00 pm and Varsity kicks-off at 7:00 pm from Roger Glass Stadium.
