SNODGRASS AND OVERHOLSER TO STATE!

The Fairmont Wrestling Firebirds hosted the Division I District Championships at Trent Arena over the weekend.  Leading the way was District Champion Nevan Snodgrass (170) and District Runner-up Evan Overholser (145).  Nevan and Evan will now travel north to Columbus for the OHSAA State Championships on March 13-15 at The Ohio State University. WRESTLING WEEKLY – MARCH 2-8

WEEKLY HIGHLIGHTS SECTIONAL The Wrestling Firebirds turned in arguably their best performance of the year as a team this weekend at the Centerville Sectional.  Seven Firebirds qualified for next weekend’s district competition.  Congrats are in order for Nevan Snodgrass, who claimed his 4th Sectional title, a school record!  And also for our district qualifiers: Noah

7 FIREBIRDS ADVANCE TO DISTRICT WRESTLING AND SNODGRASS 4X SECTIONAL CHAMP!

The Fairmont Wrestling Firebirds finished 4th as a team and qualifed 7 athletes to next weekend’s District Championships.
