Fairmont JV dual meet with Sidney

Fairmont’s Junior Varsity had a dual meet on Saturday with Sidney’s Varsity. Best of the Nest Varsity meet results

Fairmont’s Varsity Swimmers competed in a 5 team meet this weekend. Other schools at the meet were Bellbrook, Chaminade-Julianne, Eaton and Fairborn. The women placed 2nd scoring 154 points. The men placed first at the meet scoring 182 points. Fairmont easily won the swim meet with a total of 336 points. Coming in first place

SW Ohio Classic

Please be advised that the bus will be leaving for West Carrollton Ymca on both Saturday (1-17) and Sunday (1-18) at 6:15 am. The bus will leave from DL Barnes due to the Flying to the Hoop Tournament. Please eat breakfast and bring snacks as the meet will last a minumum of 3 1/2 hours

SW Ohio Classic swim meet on Saturday and Sunday, January 17 & 18

The 32nd annual Southwest Ohio swimming and diving Classic is this weekend, January 17 and 18th. It is the biggest high school meet in the country with 132 schools competing at 9 different sites in the Dayton and Cincinnati area. Our district is the most competitive one in the state. WRESTLING – Roberds & Smith win JV titles at Versailles!

The JV Wrestling Firebirds finished 7th at the Versailles Tournament on Saturday.  Leading Fairmont were tournament champions Alex Roberds and Daniel Smith.  Also placing in the top 6 for Fairmont were: Jake Maggs – 4th Joel Russell – 2nd Scott Elliott – 6th Caleb Hughes – 4th and Noah Peterson – 2nd

WRESTLING – Firebirds fall to Beavers in County Line Match

Despite winning the actual matches wrestled by the score of 31-17, forfeits proved too much for the Fairmont to overcome as the Firebirds lost to Beavercreek 47-31.
