Fairmont Girls face #1 seed Springboro in Sectional Finals

The Fairmont Girls Basketball team advances to the sectional finals of the Ohio State Tourney with a 68-13 win over Ponitz. The Birds will take on the areas #1 seed, Springboro. The game will take place at Wayne High School on Saturday, February 28th, at 1:00pm.

Bowling Advances to Districts

Congratulations to the Fairmont Varsity Girls and Boys Bowling Teams for advancing to the OHSAA District tournament by qualifying 5th and 4th respectively in the OHSAA Sectional tournament this week. The OHSAA District tournament will be held Wednesday March 4th (boys) and Thursday March 5th (girls) at Beaver-Vu lanes. Go Birds!!!!!!

Thirteen swimmers competed at the Southwest District meet on Sunday for Fairmont. The boys swim team competed first. As a team the boys finished in 12th place out of 29 teams. Fairmont will have 3 swimmers at the state meet this weekend in Canton. Marie Docken, Maggie Berning and Nick Aukerman all qualified in an individual events for state. Carroll & Kimbrell Win GWOC Titles!

The Fairmont Wrestling Firebirds finished a strong 5th at the 2015 GWOC Championships at Trent Arena on Monday. Leading the Firebirds were tournament champions Brad Carroll and Mark Kimbrell.  Carroll went 4-0 at 152 en route to the title and moved to 35-4 on the season.
